3 songs from London Morning to give your playlist a boost
London Morning's Ryan Soulliere has 3 hot music picks from this week's show
London Morning's associate producer Ryan Soulliere listens to a lot of music for his role picking tunes for the show. In any given week, that's about 25 songs. From this week's show, here are his three top local and Canadian picks.
Chad Price - Renaissance
Any time is right for a Chad Price song. The London-born singer songwriter has a rich catalogue of Soul/R&B tracks that showcase his smooth vocals and sophisticated songwriting. Chad is back in the region this weekend for a concert in Aylmer. London Morning played his song Renaissance ahead of that show.
Jah'Mila - Bad Habit
Jamaican-born Canadian reggae musician Jah'Mila has her first-ever Juno award nomination this year for her album Roots Girl. Since releasing the full-length album Jah'Mila dropped a great new single called Bad Habit. This song is smooth and mellow and really lets Jah'Mila's warm vocals shine through. Bad Habit is a great track for relaxing and will fit well on a chill party mix.
Waahli - Bliye Sa
Montreal's Waahli also has his first-ever Juno award nomination for his album Soap Box in the global music album category. That album has some new songs and some remastered Waahli classics, like the title track and Bliye Sa. Bliye Sa is a great up-tempo, versatile jam that is perfect for listening to any time.
