The investigation into the Todd Street home began in September, when police arrested a man as he left the residence.
Officers found him with 0.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine and a stolen bicycle, police said. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of stolen property under $5,000.
Further investigation led police to execute a search warrant at the home on Friday.
The generator, worth $4,500, was being used to power the residence on Todd Street because the home didn't have hydro.
Police said officers also found 19.94 grams of suspected cocaine, 0.17 grams of suspected fentanyl and two large marijuana plants.
Police also seized seven bicycles and a variety of other property and tools officers suspected were stolen.
The investigation is continuing and charges are expected.
