Young leukemia patient helps build new playground
When given the opportunity to make a request of Children's Wish Foundation, Halle Popowich, 6, wished for a new playground to be built at her school so her friends could all play together once again.
CBC first reported last year that six-year-old Halle Popowich received a life-saving bone marrow transplant to battle a rare form of leukemia.
When given the opportunity to make a request of Children’s Wish Foundation, Halle wished for a new playground to be built at her school so her friends could all play together once again.
And, as CBC’s Marion Warnica reports, with the help of several local construction companies, that wish is now becoming a reality.
