Wife of missing man enlists friends, psychics in search of him
'We don’t feel he’s still with us. He would never leave me or the children'
Cathy Kellerman remembers her husband as a gentleman.
"One of the last few you'll ever get," she said, describing him.
That makes it even harder for her to understand why 56-year-old Tyrone Kellerman has been missing for more than two months.
Tyrone was last seen at 10 a.m. on Feb. 13 at the Edson Walmart. Police say his dark blue 2003 Dodge Ram with the licence plate BFT-8284 is missing as well.
Since Tyrone went missing, Cathy and his friends have spent days looking for any sign of him, checking the farm they lived on and various other spots he frequented for fishing.
With no sign of him, both Cathy and the RCMP are stumped on where he could be.
"This is out of character for Tyrone," Cpl. Chris Warren told CBC Friday. "There was just nothing to indicate that this was a normal event for him."
'We don't feel he's still with us'
Cathy has searched far and wide for her husband, even enlisting a group of psychics to lead search groups.
The psychics haven't charged Cathy for leading the search parties, hoping they will find him somewhere on their farm.
But Cathy said she is starting to believe her worst fears.
"We don't feel he's still with us," she said. "He would never leave me or the children."
She said the psychics involved said the same thing. "They all agree that he is not here," she said.
Cathy said she appreciates all the help she's received from friends, family and the psychics who volunteered their time to help find her husband.
"I've been very fortunate with both of these [psychics] that they were willing to help me in the darkest hours of my life," she said.
Warren said though police are continuing to search for Tyrone alive, they are considering all outcomes.
"We're considering, you know, all aspects and avenues of an investigation," he said.
As for Cathy, she said she hasn't given up yet.
"I don't want to give up hope in finding him," she said. "Please, please, if you know anything, tell us so we can bring him home."
Police are asking anyone with any information regarding Tyrone Kellerman's whereabouts to contact the Edson detachment at 780-723-8822.
