Salmonella concerns prompt Lucerne Foods sandwich recall
Lucerne Foods is recalling some of its sandwiches sold in Alberta, B.C., Manitoba and Saskatchewan because of possible salmonella contamination.
Lucerne Foods is recalling some of its sandwiches sold in Alberta, B.C., Manitoba and Saskatchewan because of possible salmonella contamination.
The affected products include roast beef submarines, meat lover’s sandwiches and a roast beef and cheddar sandwich.
Anyone who purchased these sandwiches are asked to toss them out or return them to the store.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says that this recall was initiated by the company.
There are no reports of people becoming ill from the sandwiches.
