Those who fled 80 homes west of Edmonton are headed back now that a fire evacuation order has been lifted.
Residents near Duffield were forced out Monday under a local state of emergency, when a wildfire jumped the fire-line and burned out of control.
On Tuesday night, officials felt confident enough to cancel the evacuation order.

A prepare-to-evacuate alert for residents of Clear Lake and Spruce Ridge Estates was also cancelled.
The fire had covered more 200 hectares and was headed northeast earlier in the day.
Five helicopters dropping water and up to 80 firefighters helped get the blaze under control.
