Emergency workers, athletes and local celebrities joined kids for K-Days visit
Kids with special needs got a chance to the take in the rides and attractions at K-Days this morning along with a few special guests.
Emergency workers, athletes and local celebrities joined the kids for Monday Morning Magic, which for 40 years has opened the rides and attractions for children who need special care.
"This is something exceptionally important to Northlands," said Jennifer Sheehan, spokeswoman for Northlands.
"It's an opportunity to come on the midway in a very safe environment."
Among those taking photos and getting on rides with the kids was Edmonton Eskimos receiver Adarius Bowman.
"I think it means everything," he said.
"As an athlete, sometimes we can take advantage of the small things. To be out with the kids today I think was a great thing."
