Up to 15,000 fans are expected to pack the stands in Fort McMurray Saturday night in a much anticipated game between the CFL's Edmonton Eskimos and Saskatchewan Roughriders.
The game, billed as the Northern Kickoff, starts at 8 p.m. at the SMS Equipment Stadium at Shell Place.
The Eskimos are the home team after losing the use of Commonwealth Stadium to the Women's World Cup.
The Green-and-Gold's first regular-season game against the Toronto Argonauts will also be played in the oilsands capital on June 27th.
