Tomorrow morning Kinnaird Ravine, in northeast Edmonton, becomes one of the largest displays of public art in the city.

The Kinnaird Ravine will soon be home to one of the largest public art installations Edmonton has seen in years.

On Saturday morning, more than 60 murals will go up along the retaining walls that line the ravine's gravel trail.

Formerly known as Rat Creek Ravine, the trail runs from the river valley up to the Stadium LRT station.

Sebastian Berrera, co-ordinator of the KinnArt Ravine Project, joined Edmonton AM radio host Mark Connolly on Friday morning to talk about the inspiration behind exhibit.

Anyone interested in volunteering is welcome to take part. Work on the murals will begin at 10:00 a.m.
