Dan Aykroyd, U.S. TV stars, to mark completion of dino museum

Dan Aykroyd, actress Fran Drescher and Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen are among the people who will help mark the completion of the new Philip J. Currie Dinosaur museum in northern Alberta this summer.
The group will take part in a fossil excavation on Aug. 8 and attend the Amber Fundraising Ball the next day.

While construction on the $34.6 million museum will be finished by then, the facility won’t open to the public until Dec. 1.
Others scheduled to attend include Aubrey Plaza from the TV series Parks and Recreation, Matthew Gray Gubler from the TV series Criminal Minds, Roots co-founder Michael Budman and John Paul DeJoria, co-founder of Paul Mitchell Hair Care and Patron spirits.
