Boonstock to move after neighbour submits petition to Sturgeon County

Sturgeon County councillors voted unanimously on Tuesday to find the annual Boonstock Music Festival a new home.

The current festival grounds sit next to property owned by Ron Ebbers, who says the past nine years that the festival has been running have been a nightmare for him.

Ebbers, who said he feels “under siege” each summer while the festival is happening, helped gather 107 signatures protesting the annual event.
