Alberta has four new confirmed cases of swine flu, it was announced Wednesday on the Alberta Health website. This brings the total of confirmed cases in the province to 30.

Of the 30 cases, 13 are from the Calgary area and eight are in Edmonton.  Specific locations were not given for the cases outside those two cities.  The province will only say there are five cases in central Alberta and four in northern Alberta.

The site also breaks down the cases by travel history.

It says 23 individuals had travelled to Mexico, one had travelled to Tennessee, two more had contact with someone who had travelled to Mexico. The remaining four had no travel history at all.

The new cases are all mild in nature.  A girl who was hospitalized in Edmonton remains the only serious case.
