Where to drop off leftover Halloween candy in Calgary
There are several places in the city that are here to help you resist the temptation to unwrap another tiny chocolate bar.

Halloween is one of those holidays that ends with a mountain of teeny weeny Kit Kats on the kitchen counter.
The temptation is real and indulgence is just an arms-length away. The only solution is to get them out of your sight ASAP.

But there is an alternative to dumping your Halloween candy in the lunchroom at work and leaving it to your poor coworkers to clean up your sugary leftovers.
You can donate it one of the following Calgary establishments:
- Salvation Army Centre of Hope, 420 Ninth Avenue S.E. in the East Village
- Calgary Drop-In Centre, 1 Dermot Baldwin Way S.E. in the East Village
- Calgary Food Bank, 5000 11th Street S.E.
- For every pound of candy donated to Evans Dental at Market Mall, a pound of apples is donated to the Calgary Food Bank.
