Police seek details about final days of Calgary man found dead in Marlborough home
Nathaniel Goodeye, 35, had been reported missing for six days last June
Police are asking for the public's help as they try to piece together the final days of a man found dead in a northeast Calgary residence last summer.
The body of Nathaniel Goodeye, 35, was found in a home in the 200 block of Margate Close N.E. on June 29, 2020.
He was discovered after police received a call from Goodeye's mother, who said that she had not seen her son in six days.
Investigators went to the home in Marlborough after learning the missing man may have been there, and found a body later confirmed to be Goodeye.
Police confirmed Goodeye's death was considered a homicide, but did not release how he died.
In a news release on Thursday, police said they have spoken with several witnesses and reviewed security camera video in an effort to understand what Goodeye did before he was killed.
They are now asking anyone with information about Goodeye's movements and interactions between June 23 and June 29 to contact police.
"We are looking to talk to anyone who may have seen or spoken to Nathaniel in the week leading up to when his body was discovered to contact us," said Sgt. Colin Chisholm.
"Even if the information someone has seems insignificant, we want to know about it. Sometimes the smallest piece of information can help solve a case."
Anyone with information about Goodeye's death, or his whereabouts prior to his death, is asked to call police at 403-266-1234.
