Calgary police are investigating after the body of a 35-year-old man was found in a northeast home on June 29.

Police say they were contacted by a mother who hadn't heard from her son in six days. They went to a home on the 200 block of Margate Close N.E. after learning the missing man — Nathaniel Goodeye — may have been there.

"During an initial search of the residence, a deceased body, believed to be the missing person, was found," police said in a news release.

"Three people in the residence were taken into custody and later released without charges."

Police say they continue to search the house and have not released a cause of death at this time but say it is a homicide.
