According to police, a 24-year-old woman driving a Dodge Charger struck a 41-year-old pedestrian in the parking lot of Fish Creek Pointe, 2518 Fish Creek Blvd. S.W., around 8 p.m.

Police said Tuesday the man was knocked to the ground and run over by the car, which continued through the parking lot and struck a small electrical outlet before stopping.

The pedestrian suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and was taken to hospital, police said.

Alcohol is being investigated as a factor in the collision, police said.
