Sundre minor hockey volunteer accused of sexual offences involving 4 teen boys
Alexa Suitor, 32, faces charges including sexual assault, sexual interference
A Sundre woman who volunteers with the Alberta town's minor hockey association faces charges, accused of sexual offences involving four teenage boys.
Alexa Suitor, 32, is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and four counts of making sexually explicit material available to a child.
Nine days before her arrest, Sundre RCMP received a complaint of an alleged sexual assault leading to the brief investigation.
A publication ban protects the identities of the alleged victims.
Suitor serves as secretary on the Sundre Minor Hockey board.
Released on bail under conditions
Court records show the date of the alleged sexual assault as Dec. 31, 2023, while the other offences are dated March 25, 2024.
Suitor was released on bail under conditions that she stay away from the four alleged victims, their homes and their schools.
She cannot have contact with anyone under 16 years old with whom she is not biologically related.
She cannot go to places frequented by youths, including public swimming pools, schools and school yards, daycares, playgrounds, youth shelters or public libraries.
Another court-ordered condition prohibits Suitor from seeking or maintaining any volunteer or employment position where she would be in a position of trust or authority over a person under the age of 16.
Suitor is due back in court later this month.
Sundre, a community of roughly 2,700 people, is located about 115 kilometres northwest of Calgary.
