Semi-automatic weapons cache uncovered in Abbotsford

Police in Abbotsford, B.C., are trying to figure out who left a duffel bag full of semi-automatic rifles and a box full of magazines and ammunition on a rural property.

Police in Abbotsford, B.C., are trying to figure out who left a duffel bag full of semi-automatic rifles and a box full of magazines and ammunition on a rural property.

A caller reported finding the weapons in an outbuilding on the property on Lefeuvre Road  on Sunday.

When police arrived they found eight semi-automatic rifles in a black bag, 34 boxes of ammunition and 10 extra magazines for the rifles in a box.
