As if cherry blossoms aren't dreamy enough during the day, two Vancouver artists transformed a tunnel of blossoms into a glowing, night time fantasy.
Vancouver artists Stuart Ward and Ben Z Cooper projected an array of lights on dozens of cherry blossom trees in Stanley Park near the Japanese Canadian War Memorial.
The one-night only affair was part of the annual Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival.
Hundreds of people turned out to admire the installation and get lost in the evening landscape.
According to the event's Facebook page, Ward's appreciation for cherry blossoms come from his time in Japan where it gave him inspiration "to live and to create."
This year, organizers sold hot tea and even suggested attendees bring picnics for the "ultimate sensory experience."
In addition to a rainbow of dancing light projections that was paired with music, Ward and Cooper also installed multicolored umbrellas and lanterns.
