Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival selects student's design for new banner

A first year student from Emily Carr University of Art and Design has turned a class assignment into a paying gig, as her design for the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival wins a design competition to become the new banners for the annual spring celebration.
