Vancouver police are investigating after what witnesses describe as a dramatic three-vehicle accident involving a black Acura, a Smart Car and an SUV with a rack full of bikes on it.

Katy Kinsley says she was walking down Seymour Street when she heard the first bang.

Katy Kinsley witnessed the crash, which she says injured at least two people, one woman and one man. "He was so lucky, but he was trapped between the back tires of the bike and Smart Car." (CBC)

"And saw this black Acura came along and hit the corner of this Smart Car here and side swiped the SUV and it flipped on its roof and there was a man in between the bikes here of the SUV and the Smart Car [who] was kind of pinned there, standing in shock," she said.

Kinsley says the man was not seriously injured but she also saw a woman sitting on the sidewalk who was bleeding.

Witnesses say a man was pinned between these two vehicles, but not seriously injured. (CBC)

Officers on scene said they didn't believe anyone was seriously injured in the crash, but they closed Seymour between Drake and Davie for the investigation.

The crash came just hours after two people in Surrey died and three others were sent to hospital early Sunday morning following a three vehicle collision at 88th Avenue and 152nd Street.
