Tonye Aganaba
Born in the U.K. to a Nigerian father and Zimbabwean mother, Aganaba's musical education started with her family's extensive music collection, where she found some of her biggest influences — Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Sade and many more.
Aganaba went on to take vocal training under the tutelage of the late Keith Allan Hall, famed for singing with acts like Sammy Davis Jr., and studied acting at the University of Victoria.
After graduation she moved to Vancouver, and ever since, she has been making waves in the local music scene, defying genres.
