CBC kicks off countdown to Canada's 150th birthday
Share your personal stories about what Canada means to you with CBC
If someone asked you to sum up your experience as a Canadian with a single story, what would that story be?
Next year, 2017, marks the 150th anniversary of Canadian Confederation, 150 days from today. In the lead-up to the year-long celebration, CBC News would like to hear your stories about Canada and what being Canadian means to you.
Maybe it's a story about a favourite place. Perhaps, it's a story about a person who inspired you or about an event that took the world by storm.
Or maybe it's some other kind of story that moved you.
No matter the story, if it's personal, we we'd like to hear it. Send your words, pictures or videos to CBCNews2017@cbc.ca.
We've already collected some great examples to get you thinking — including stories from Ellen Page, Kim Campbell, William Shatner, Maestro Fresh Wes and many more.
