Juno-nominated and B.C.-raised blues singer takes the stage at this free concert

Ndidi Onukwulu is a B.C.-born, award-winning singer-songwriter. She plays CBC Musical Nooners Aug. 4, 2016.

Ndidi O brings her unique and award-winning voice to the CBC Musical Nooners stage on Thursday, Aug. 4. 

The concert begins at 12 p.m. PT and ends at 1 p.m.

CBC Musical Nooners are free, live music concerts that happen every weekday on the CBC Vancouver outdoor stage.

Ndidi Onukwulu was raised in British Columbia but got her start as a musician in New York's open mic scene. Her blues, jazz, and soul songs have earned her two Juno nominations and a Maple Blues Award. 

Onukwulu has spent time developing her sound in Paris and Los Angeles. Her songs continue to reflect a distinctly Canadian experience.

She will preview brand-new material from her upcoming album at the Musical Nooners performance.
