Alexandra Lezo demands the right to keep them as pets

There is no shortage of pet owners and animal lovers in the Lower Mainland.

But for some people, the traditional pet just doesn't cut it. Shane Foxman introduces us to Burnaby's Alexandra Lezo and her pet pygmy goats, Toddy and Andy.

According to City of Burnaby bylaws, the only place goats can call home are in areas designated for agricultural use. However, Lezo and her family live in a residential neighbourhood.

On Monday night, the cityordered a staff review on amending the bylaw to include pygmy goats as pets.

In the meantime, Toggy and Andy can stay with Lezo.
