How to sew a chic clutch that complements any outfit
A perennial wedding season problem, solved — thanks to this simple tutorial from Sewing Therapy’s Sara SJ Kim
Getting dressed up but don't have the right clutch to match your outfit? Why not sew your own with a little help from Sewing Therapy's Sara SJ Kim.
In this episode of her CBC Life series Sewing School, Sara demonstrates how to create a small handheld purse that's perfect for wedding season and beyond. The pattern includes two options for the flap design — rounded and envelope-style — and suits a wide variety of fabrics, allowing you to customize the look to suit whatever you're wearing. The best part? This project only takes around an hour to complete, meaning you can try it in a pinch or keep experimenting with different styles and colours whenever your heart desires.
