NAME: Keenan Wong
OCCUPATION: Kinesiologist
AGE: 26
HOMETOWN: Surrey, B.C.

Keenan is a personal trainer from Surrey, B.C. who grew up playing every sport imaginable before dedicating himself to the gym. He is proud to represent Fiji and carries the lessons of hard work and gratitude instilled by his family's journey to Canada from the South Pacific. Known for his drive and his "dawg" mentality, Keenan is determined to lead his team to victory no matter what it takes.

What's driving you to take on Canada's Ultimate Challenge?

I have always been extremely competitive and love to be pushed to my limits both physically and mentally. Plus, I pride myself on having a rock-solid mind, I believe in myself completely and know that I can make anything happen if I put my mind to it! This show was just confirmation that I AM THE BIG DAWG & WILL EAT ANYTHING OR ANYONE IN MY WAY TO GET THE WIN!

What unique skills will set you apart from the competition?

Physically, I know I am the strongest competitor, mentally I know I am the strongest competitor, and psychologically I know I am the strongest competitor! The other competitors do not have the same DAWG in them like I do! I will die out there to win, and I know that others aren't willing to give their life up to win, so that's exactly what sets me apart!

How did you gear up for Canada's Ultimate Challenge?

Ever since COVID I have been training vigorously, not only in the gym but also forcing myself to do extremely hard challenges to train the mind.

Leading up to the show, I was working out twice a day for four months prior to the first day, I would do cold plunges, cryotherapy, and countless other tough activities to prepare myself for whatever was to come!

What do you fear the most in the competition?

Swimming. I had a life-threatening situation in the South Pacific Ocean in Fiji while travelling the summer prior to Canada's Ultimate Challenge. So the idea of being in the water was quite daunting and scary!

What's the toughest thing life has thrown you and how did it prepare you for this challenge?

I grew up as a mixed-race kid in a predominantly white area, where nobody looked the same as me.

My family struggled financially and my parents separated when I was 13 years old. All of these tough moments were preparing me for this competition and I am thankful to have experienced each one of them!

Who is your favourite player from past seasons?

I didn't watch the show prior to competing in it, so I don't necessarily have a favourite player. Adam Pike is my brother though, so I guess if I had to choose one it would be him!

What's a random fact that people would be shocked to learn about you?

I look tough on the outside, but I have a huge heart on the inside!
