Targa Newfoundland kicked off on Saturday morning. Billed as the only tarmac rally race of its kind in North America, the 2000 kilometre course will tour eastern and central parts of the island. The CBC's Jeremy Eaton was there as drivers began their journey outside of St. John's City Hall.
