Two 14-year-olds have been hit with a laundry list of charges after two youths kidnapped and robbed two people at gunpoint, Windsor police say.

Officers responded on Tuesday night just before 11 p.m. to a report of a person with a gun in the 3,000 block of Dougall Avenue, the Windsor Police Service said in a news release issued Thursday.

"Through investigation, officers learned that two youth suspects in a stolen vehicle had picked up the first victim, pointed a firearm at their head and threatened them," police said.

Investigators say the kids then drove to the location of a second victim, threatened that person with bear mace and also demanded they get into the car before one of the victims was assaulted and had their shoes stolen.

Then, police say, both individuals were released, and one person had a minor injury.

Windsor police located two suspects on Wednesday. Neither can be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

One 14-year-old has been charged with two counts of forcible confinement, pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon and uttering threats. They've also been charged with robbery with a weapon, wearing a disguise, kidnapping, possession of property obtained by crime, two firearms charges and breach of probation.

A second 14-year-old has been charged with two counts of forcible confinement, as well as kidnapping, robbery, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, wearing a disguise, possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation.
