Ookpiik arriving! George Broderick McGee took this great photo about half an hour outside of Coral Harbour, Nunavut by ATV at Rocky Brook. 'Their mom set up her nest right next to the ATV trail, and took off as soon as we got near. She watched from the distance and quickly returned after we left.' (submitted by George Broderick McGee)

Getting out caribou hunting is great... but it comes with something else in summer - mosquitoes. And lots of them. Sally Paungrat says 'you can see thousands of them. But it was worth it to hunt caribou. I enjoyed being out on the land. Outside of Baker Lake (Nunavut).' (submitted by Sally Paungrat)
