Nunavut youth out on the land! Lloyd Francis sent us these great photos from a recent cadet expedition. Here's what he wrote: "16 army cadets from Nunavut took part in a silver star expedition this weekend, which consisted of a 10 km hike, canoeing familiarization, and other land skills. The activity took place at Turtle Mountain Provincial Park in southwestern Manitoba, near the North Dakota border. 11 Naujaat cadets, 3 from Arctic Bay and 2 from Rankin Inlet participated. It was a beautiful, sunny weekend and each cadet successfully completed the expedition." (Submitted by Lloyd Francis)
