A portion of a busy street in downtown St. John's was closed to traffic late Saturday night, following a vehicle-pedestrian collision.
At 11 p.m., the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and emergency crews were called to the accident on Water Street.
The RNC says the pedestrian, a woman, was treated for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the roadway was re-opened a short time later.
