Office of chief medical examiner tasked to determine cause of death, while police search for video evidence
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says it is investigating the death of a woman after she was discovered with injuries on the side of the road Thursday afternoon.
Shortly after 1 p.m. on Thursday, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary was called to assist with an ambulance call in the area of Minerals Road in Conception Bay South.
A woman, 36, was discovered lying on the side of the road. She was taken to hospital to be treated for unreleased injuries but passed away in hospital.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has been tasked to determine the cause of death.
The police are looking for CCTV or dash camera footage from the area of Minerals Road, near Chris Porter Trucking between noon and 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15.
