A special unveiling is taking place at the Canadian Forces building in St. John's Thursday afternoon for One More Will Stand — a war tune penned by Chris Andrews to commemorate the Royal Newfoundland Regiment's role in the First World War and the Battle of Beaumont-Hamel.
The song, which was inspired by submitted stories of family connections to the Great War, will be aired on CBC Radio's On The Go.
Live video of the show will also be carried in the player above, starting at 4 p.m. NT.
The On The Go special will feature live performances by Shanneyganock, the Ennis Sisters, Maria Peddle, Gavin Simms and Ilia Nicoll.
