Freedom for accused murderer Kenny Green was short-lived, after he was picked up by police late Saturday afternoon.
Green, who has pleaded not-guilty to second-degree murder, was released on strict bail conditions on Friday.
According to Green's lawyer, Randy Piercey, his client is alleged to have gone into a licensed drinking establishment in violation of one of his bail conditions.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said they arrested a man at a Paradise restaurant at 6:15 p.m. for breaching a court order.
Green, 35, is accused of viciously beating Joey Whalen, 47, in a known drug house on Tessier Pl. last year.
Whalen died several days later in hospital.
