A municipal snow removal truck in Trinity Bay North collided with a parked vehicle and a house in the town early Wednesday morning.
An official with the town said roads were like a "sheet of ice" when the incident happened in Melrose.
A truck, which salts the roads, slid into a car parked on the side of the road, as well as a house.
While no one was injured in the collision, a man inside the car fell once he got out of the vehicle.
He was responsive, but was taken to the Bonavista Peninsula Health Centre as a precaution.
The house and vehicle both sustained minor damage.
