Deja-vu all over again in Happy Valley-Goose Bay Wednesday as residents woke up to wintery conditions.

Nearly 20 cm of snow down by noon and more could be on the way through afternoon

Just when people were lacing up their sneakers for spring, they had to break out the winter boots again after waking up to a heavy snowfall.

Just as people in Happy Valley-Goose Bay were strapping on their sneakers for spring, they instead had to break out the winter boots again this morning. 

"It's horrible... don't like it at all," one man, who said he was caught off guard by the winter weather, told CBC.

The town saw 18 cm of snow fall Wednesday morning and another 2 to 4 cm is expected through the afternoon.

The long range forecast shows those conditions could continue to persist until Friday, after which temperatures should warm and the weekend could be a mix of sun and rain.
