Carbon monoxide poisoning confirmed cause of death for 2 found in car
Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Simon Avis confirmed Monday the two people found in a car on Portugal Cove Road last week died from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Simon Avis confirmed Monday the two people found in a car on Portugal Cove Road last week died from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Avis called the death of Crystal Woodrow, 17, and Joshua Williams, 20, a "tragic accident."

The two were discovered inside a car Tuesday afternoon in a wooded area off Portugal Cove Road in St. John's.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police later deemed the deaths accidental, and the bodies were sent for autopsy.
