2 arrested following daring theft at St. John's clothing store
Video footage shows men breaking display windows, running off with mannequin
Two people have been arrested following a brazen Monday morning robbery at Always in Vogue in St. John's.
Police say the robbery happened around 5 a.m. NT.
Security footage posted on Facebook by the store shows two men kicking and punching a showcase window before grabbing a mannequin wearing what the store called a one-of-a-kind seal fur bomber jacket.
The men then fled on foot.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary told CBC News that the two men — a 30-year-old and a 31-year-old — were arrested later on Monday. The coat has also since been recovered.
The pair were charged with breaking and entering ahead of an appearance in court.
