Winnipeg police have arrested a 20-year-old man who was charged with second-degree murder in early December, RCMP say.

Winnipeg police have arrested a 20-year-old man who was charged with second-degree murder in early December, RCMP say.

Gregory James Spence was arrested by Winnipeg police on Saturday, according to a Monday RCMP news release.

RCMP previously requested the public's help to locate Gregory James Spence when he was charged in the fatal stabbing of a 31-year-old man in Thompson, in the northern Manitoba city's Eastwood area.

Spence will appear in court later today to face his second-degree murder charge, police say.
