A man who died after being found injured inside a Main Street apartment has been identified, Winnipeg police say.

A man who died after being found injured inside a Main Street apartment has been identified, Winnipeg police say.

Murdo Baker, 24, originally from South Indian Lake, was found around 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday in the apartment block between Sutherland and Flora avenues.

He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Anyone with video surveillance or information that could help investigators is asked to call the homicide unit at 204-986-6508 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
