Missing man last seen in Winnipeg's Elmwood area found dead, police say

A 36-year-old man last seen in Winnipeg in December has been found dead.

Winnipeg police released the update about Davis Hickaway on Wednesday.

Hickaway had last been seen in the city's Elmwood area on Dec. 19.

His vehicle was found in the rural municipality of Reynolds, which is east of Winnipeg, police previously said.

Police did not provide further details about Hickaway's death.
