Investigators with the Waterloo Regional Police Service say there may be more victims.

The 51-year-old was put under restrictions at Kitchener's Grand River hospital in 2017. He was then stripped of his licence in May 2019 and arrested with the first set of charges in September.

The complainants had ranged in age from 17 to 51.

In addition to working at Grand River Hospital, Sloka also previously had privileges at Guelph General Hospital and St. Mary's General Hospital in Kitchener, according to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

CPSO prosecutor Morgana Kellythorne's submission to the Discipline Committee at the College's public hearing:

"Dr. Sloka sexually abused multiple patients during medical examinations," said the college's prosecutor Morgana Kellythorn during its public hearing.

"Patients  are at their most vulnerable in the examination room, where they rely on doctor's expertise and professionalism when it comes to being physically touched or directed to undress. These patients were exploited and deceived by Dr. Sloka for his own sexual purposes," Kellythorn said.
