Edmonton's craft beer scene has seen exponential growth in the last decade.

Today, the city has dedicated brewery communities on either side of the river and new shops seems to be opening all the time. But how long can we sustain the beer boom?

In neighbourhoods all over Edmonton you can see the growth of the craft beer industry.  So what is our craft beer identity? Host Clare Bonnyman grabs a pint with beer educator Jason Foster and brewer Chelsea Tessier to learn about how these (mostly) small businesses are navigating a challenging landscape.

On This Is Edmonton, host Clare Bonnyman sat down with two long-time members of the Edmonton beer scene: Jason Foster of onbeer.org and Chelsea Tessier of Polyrhythm Brewing. They talk about the challenges facing Edmonton's small breweries and what the city's craft beer identity really is.
