Man killed by C-Train in Chinook Station pedestrian crossing
A man was struck and killed by a C-Train at Chinook Station late Wednesday afternoon, according to emergency services.

A man was struck and killed by a C-Train at Chinook Station, according to emergency services.
The 44-year-old victim was hit by a southbound train while he attempted to cross the tracks just before 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Paramedics declared the man dead at the scene. There were no reports of any injuries aboard the train, EMS spokesman Stuart Brideaux said in a statement.
The following morning, in a separate incident, another person was struck and killed by a C-Train in northeast Calgary.
Police are investigating both incidents.
