Teen seriously injured after Abbotsford crash, wet roads a factor

Two others were also taken to hospital, but with non-life threatening injuries.

A 17-year-old girl is in hospital with serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash in Abbotsford.

The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. in the 2800-block of Ash Street Wednesday.

First responders arrived and transported the teenager to hospital. Two other occupants of the vehicle were also taken to hospital, both with non-life threatening injuries.

Abbotsford Police believe weather and slippery road conditions were contributing factors in the crash.

The crash is still under investigation, and any witnesses are asked to contact police at 604-859-5225.
