NEW YORK, NY—President-elect Donald J. Trump, famed businessman and liar, held a press conference in New York today to address the media and to tell more lies.
He first said that the intelligence community may have been responsible for sharing yesterday's explosive story, and then said he had no way of knowing, but that it would be terrible if they had, just terrible.
He then criticized the news outlets for their poor performance, before then using their criticism of the leaked story as evidence that it was a bad story, because apparently those same news outlets had become more credible sources by the end of that sentence.
He then boasted of having won the election "easily." The same election, of course, in which at last count he had been outpaced by nearly three million votes by his opponent.
The man, wearing orange make-up and at least some degree of hair falseness, though the exact nature of the latter is undetermined, stated that he would place his funds and businesses in a trust.
The trust would result in his companies being managed for the time being by Eric Trump, Donald Trump, Jr., and a third party. Two of those three are his own children. This is to remove his conflicts of interest, you see. Not sure exactly which of these facts makes it a lie, but it does make it very ridiculous.
He finished his press conference by saying that if his sons, who as you'll recall he was supposedly leaving in charge of his businesses but of course whom he would continue to speak to every single day about those businesses, did not do a good job after eight years they would be fired.
Which they would not be, not only because will he not fire them but also because the eight years would be up, so he would once again be in charge of the businesses, though of course he would be already because most of this is a lie.
Watch out for fake news, people, and politicians!
