Big win in the cold competition
A team of chefs from Charlottetown's Culinary Institute of Canada is bringing home gold medals from the IKA Olympiade der Köche in Erfut, Germany.
Canada took home two gold medals in the regional culinary and pastry cold competitions.
In a Facebook post, the Culinary Institute thanks the coaches and competitors — and all who support their passion.
"You competed on the world's biggest stage and proved that you belong. We are all so proud of you!" reads the post.
The institute also shared a video of the team thanking their family and friends back home in Canada.
