Boy died in July 2015 of multiple blunt force trauma, according to investigators
Calgary police want the public's help to locate two people described as persons of interest in what investigators now say is the homicide of five-year-old Eneas Emilio Perdomo, who died of blunt-force trauma in July 2015.
Investigators want to speak with Allan Edgardo Perdomo Lopez, 56, and Carolina Del Carmen Perdomo, 49.
They are described as relations of the boy but police said they have so far been unable to confirm the exact nature of the relationships.

Insp. Don Coleman initially told reporters Allan was Emilio's father and Carolina is Allan's wife, but police later retracted that and said "investigators are still working to determine exactly how closely they are related" to the deceased child.
Coleman said investigators recently went to the pair's Calgary home to speak with them after new information in the case came to light, but neither was there.
"We believe they may be out of the province, potentially B.C.," Coleman said.
Emilio was brought to hospital on July 10, 2015, suffering from injuries that family members described at the time as the result of numerous accidents.
"Medical staff observed swelling and bruising all over his body, which was not consistent with the activities of a child his age," police said in a release.
On July 17, 2015, the child died from his injuries and an autopsy later found his death was the result of multiple blunt-force trauma.
Emilio was born in Mexico City and came to Calgary without his mother a few months before he died. His mother still lives in Mexico City, police said.
Calgary police continued to question family members for months after the boy's death, which they described at the time as suspicious.
Investigators working with the medical examiner's office now say "new medical evidence" has helped police deem the death a homicide.
"We worked locally and sought some expert opinion on the cause of death," Coleman said.
"We recently received those results and that's allowed us to move forward with [attempting to locate] Allan and Carolina. We believe there was some exclusive access to Emilio, obviously, that would have been a part of that cause of death."
Descriptions of persons of interest
Allan is described as Hispanic and five feet nine inches tall with a medium build, brown eyes and brown hair.
Carolina is described as Hispanic and five feet one inch tall, with a medium build, brown eyes and black hair.
