Police are asking witnesses to March 8 collision to come forward
A 55-year-old man has been named Edmonton's eighth traffic fatality and the third pedestrian death of the year.

- Woman struck and killed by cement truck in downtown Edmonton
The man, who police have not named, was hit while using a marked crosswalk at 111th Avenue and 127th Street on March 8. He died in hospital 10 days later.
No charges have been laid against the 40-year-old driver. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward.
At this time last year, the city had reported four traffic fatalities, all of whom were pedestrians.
